Tangled Tones has a range of group programs for various ages and interests. The programs below are grouped by the time of year they are offered.
September – May
- Group Classes – Ages 9-14 (depends on class)
Taylor-PWTB 2009
– Beginning Guitar or Ukulele are the two groups being offered
– September 17th – November 12th (No Classes October 16)

- Playing With the Band (PWTB) – Ages 12 & up
Mentor with a professional musician. Rehearse weekly with youth band mates. Learn how to properly use music and audio gear. Record 1-3 songs at the end of the session. Perform on stage in a live community performance! More details on the PWTB page, click on the link above to view.
- Private Lessons – Ages 4 & up
– Matthew’s Studio Only – Guitar, Piano, and Harmonica – (June – August private lessons are available as well – see private lesson page for more details)
- Classes currently on hold as I look for suitable space to hold the class.
- World Rhythm – Ages 5 & up
- Rhythm Tykes – Ages 1-4
An enjoyable musical experience for both parent and child in a relaxed learning environment. Rhythm Tykes offers a small class size and an intimate music learning experience with Matthew Nord. Children will experience: Ear music, learn to listen – identify and imitate what you hear. Rhythm and movement– We learn best by doing, participate in games and simple exercises learning the basics of rhythm. Children will get to play various rhythm instruments in this section. Singing, Acting and, Expression!! In the past classes were: Fridays: 10:15am-10:45am and 11:00am-11:30am
Summer Programs
- Summer of Rock – A Rockin’ Music Camp: Rock n’ Roll, Digital Recording and Music History – Ages 7 & up
- Not being held this summer due to lack of adequate space to hold program. Check out Playing With the Band above.
