A high energy rhythm class for beginning to intermediate hand-drummers.
DAY & TIME: Tuesdays 7pm – 8:15pm
SESSION DATES: Tuesdays September 10th – October 29th COST:
$60 for 4 circles/classes ($15/class) – attend any four classes in the 8 week session
$20.00/for single class – drop ins welcome
Drum Rentals Available and Drums for Sale – Hand Drum Rental is $20/month with a signed rental agreement.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO RENT DRUM FOR CLASS, FREE DRUMS AVAILABLE TO USE, DRUM RENTAL IS ONLY IF YOU WANT TO BRING A DRUM HOME FOR THE MONTH.

Learn Rhythm Basics
Learn basic techniques of playing hand drums or djembes
Learn traditional West-African Rhythms.
Experience organic creative rhythm jams.
Learn rhythms and songs from around the world.
Experience call and response (rhythm), vocalization (singing rhythms and songs), movement and play!
The focus of this class/circle is to relax, enjoy and become comfortable with Rhythm and Hand-drumming. All other activities: singing/dancing/moving are optional to participate in. Dive in as deep as you’d like and feel personally comfortable with.
